Director of Security Resilience

About the role

AVEVA is establishing a new Security Resilience function within its Digital Security organisation. As Director, you will build and lead this capability, ensuring the company can withstand, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents, operational failures, or external crises.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement frameworks, tooling, and operating cadence for crisis management, business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Embed resilience requirements into AVEVA’s systems and processes by design.
• Coordinate with Cyber Defence, GRC, IT and R&D security teams to align risk signals and response actions.
• Provide senior‑level consultation and counsel to leaders across the organisation.
• Develop policies, concepts and methodologies that advance the Digital Security function.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in information security or enterprise risk management.
• At least 5 years in a senior role focused on building resilience capability.
• Proven track record designing and delivering crisis management and BCDR programmes in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership and experience coordinating operational response during live incidents.
• Collaborative, data‑driven mindset with a passion for creating new processes.
