Driver & Assembly Technician – Installation Role

About the role

Our client, a specialist distributor and installation business, is looking for a hands‑on Driver / Assembly Technician to deliver, assemble and install large equipment at customer sites across the UK. The role combines practical field work, travel and a strong focus on customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks on products before dispatch.
• Load company vehicles and deliver equipment safely to customer locations nationwide.
• Assemble and install products on‑site to a high standard.
• Provide an excellent installation experience and resolve customer queries professionally.
• Work closely with a colleague on most installations and support the warehouse team with product preparation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a delivery, installation or field‑based role.
• Full UK driving licence and eligibility to drive a company vehicle.
• Good practical/DIY abilities and confidence using hand tools.
• Physically fit to handle large, heavy items.
• Friendly, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.

What we offer

• Basic salary £28,000 plus paid overtime (OTE around £34,000).
• 37.5‑hour week, Monday‑Friday, with overtime opportunities.
• On‑site parking at the Epsom base and company pension.
• Occasional UK travel, including about two overnight stays per month.
