E-commerce Trading Manager – Hybrid (Hove)

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious E‑commerce Trading Manager to own the day‑to‑day performance of an international online platform for a leading sports and performance brand. Based in Hove with hybrid working, you will turn customer insight and commercial data into actions that boost revenue, conversion and average order value across the UK, US, Germany and other markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily website trading and overall performance.
• Lead merchandising on the homepage, category and product pages.
• Plan and execute product launches, campaigns and promotions.
• Identify and act on conversion‑rate optimisation opportunities throughout the customer journey.
• Support email, SMS, segmentation and retention initiatives.
• Manage paid‑search and affiliate performance.
• Monitor results, analyse data and deliver clear commercial recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, product, commercial and operations teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in e‑commerce, digital marketing or direct‑to‑consumer retail.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical abilities.
• Comfortable using data to identify opportunities, solve problems and drive performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Passion for sport, fitness or outdoor living is a plus.
