Early Career Primary Teacher (ECT) – Supply & Long‑Term

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking newly qualified primary teachers to provide supply and long‑term cover across a range of schools in Clacton‑on‑Sea and surrounding areas. You will work with children from Reception to Year 6, starting as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of individual pupils.
- Follow school safeguarding policies and complete required paperwork.
- Provide day‑to‑day cover or longer‑term assignments as required.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a UK primary school.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and two professional child‑related references.
