Early Years Educator – Primary School (Battersea)

About the role
We are seeking a passionate Early Years Educator to join our vibrant primary school in Battersea. You will help create a warm, inclusive environment where young children can explore, learn and develop confidence through play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based learning experiences in line with EYFS standards.
- Create a safe, stimulating classroom that supports each child’s curiosity and independence.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and staff.
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress to inform future planning.
- Promote wellbeing, confidence and social skills through high‑quality interactions.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive Early Years provision.
- Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and pastoral care standards.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through events and initiatives.
Required profile
- Level 3 (or higher) Early Years qualification.
- Experience working in an Early Years setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Warm, nurturing attitude with a genuine passion for early childhood education.
- Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding care and learning for every child.
