Earthworks Supervisor – Major HS2 Project

About the role

You will supervise Earthworks operations on a major HS2 infrastructure project in Coventry, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to programme requirements. This is a long‑term, PAYE position offering stability and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate site teams, plant and subcontractors to deliver Earthworks tasks.
• Monitor productivity and progress against the project schedule.
• Maintain and enforce Health & Safety standards on site.
• Liaise with engineers, site management and other stakeholders.
• Read and interpret drawings and site documentation to guide work.

Required profile

• CSCS Gold or Black Card.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• Previous supervisory experience on major civil/infrastructure projects.
• Strong Earthworks experience.
• Good understanding of site Health & Safety procedures.
• Experience managing labour, plant and subcontractors.
• Reliable, proactive attitude with strong communication and leadership skills.
