Education & Training Consultant – Pensions

About the role

As an Education & Training Consultant you will deliver pension education and training to members of the Civil Service Pension Scheme, helping them make informed decisions. The role is home‑based with monthly visits to the Liverpool office and occasional travel across the UK to deliver workshops, webinars and one‑to‑one sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain client relationships, understanding workforce demographics and communication needs.
• Design, develop and deliver high‑quality educational materials, including webinars, workshops and individual sessions.
• Ensure all content is inclusive, easy to understand and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with technical and compliance teams to keep materials up to date with current legislation.
• Identify and escalate any delivery risks to the Education & Training Manager.
• Collaborate with the wider CSPS delivery team to align training with client objectives.

Required profile

• Experience delivering education or training sessions, preferably in a pensions or financial services context.
• Strong understanding of pension schemes, regulatory requirements and behavioural insight principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to make complex information accessible.
• Willingness to travel nationally and attend monthly meetings in Liverpool.
