Electrical Construction Manager

About the role

Join a high‑profile data centre project in London as an Electrical Construction Manager. You will lead the electrical delivery, working closely with the Project Manager and a dedicated on‑site team to ensure the project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver electrical works to technical specifications and company safety standards.
• Plan and sequence activities, supervise site teams, and manage labour and material resources.
• Monitor progress, maintain quality and compliance, and ensure safe, efficient site operations.
• Develop short‑term look‑aheads, manage costs, and support commissioning and handover activities.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and client teams, maintaining site discipline and escalating issues that affect productivity or scope.
• Support apprentices, manage equipment and material logistics, and drive continuous improvement on‑site.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on data‑centre projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services, including power distribution, lighting, containment, fire alarm, and life‑safety systems.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, workforce planning, and programme delivery in a fast‑moving environment.
• Ownership mindset, clear communication, effective leadership, and commitment to continuous professional development.
