Electro‑Mechanical Assembler – Woking

About the role

We are looking for an Electro‑Mechanical Assembler to join our production team in Woking, Surrey. You will work closely with Production Engineering and Quality to build mechanical and electro‑mechanical sub‑assemblies from drawings and procedures, ensuring high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electro‑mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, torque tools and specialised fixtures.
• Carry out testing and inspection of assemblies using jigs, fixtures and defined procedures.
• Meet monthly production targets while maintaining a clean, organised work area following 5S principles.
• Support training of new team members and assist with wider operational activities as required.
• Adhere to ISO quality standards, ESD control measures and health & safety requirements, including safe handling of electrical parts.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience assembling mechanical or electro‑mechanical sub‑assemblies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a team‑oriented player.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and torque tools.
• Experience using assembly fixtures, jigs and testing equipment.
• Knowledge of ISO procedures, ESD control and 5S workplace organisation.
