Electromechanical Fitter/Assembler

About the role

Our client, a leading UK manufacturer of specialist sterilisation solutions, is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Fitter/Assembler to join their workshop team. You will be responsible for building, repairing, refurbishing and preparing a range of equipment used across professional, research and clinical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, re‑work and test equipment in accordance with specifications and quality standards.
• Carry out pipework assembly, brazing and soldering tasks as required.
• Perform quality inspections and ensure compliance with health & safety procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering, service and production teams to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and organise tools and equipment.

Required profile

• Time‑served engineer or holder of an HNC/HND qualification.
• Proven experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly environments.
• Strong organisational ability and commitment to health & safety.

What we offer

• Salary £28,000‑£30,000 (DOE)
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

• Early finish on Fridays (work until 1 pm)
• Standard Monday‑Thursday hours 8 am‑5 pm
