Employment Solicitor – 5+ PQE – Hybrid – £50-65k

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor with at least five years post‑qualification experience to join a leading Legal 500 law firm in Leeds. The successful candidate will manage a mixed caseload of claimant and respondent matters, delivering commercially‑focused advice across both contentious and non‑contentious employment issues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied employment caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, discrimination and unfair dismissal matters.
• Represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings.
• Provide clear, commercially‑oriented advice to businesses and individuals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through high‑quality service.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of client care.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years PQE in employment law.
• Experience advising on both contentious and non‑contentious matters.
• Strong advocacy experience, particularly in Employment Tribunals.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive, commercially minded approach with a commitment to client service.
