Employment Solicitor – Full‑time role in Guildford

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to join a well‑respected, dynamic team in Guildford. You will handle a diverse client base, providing both contentious and non‑contentious advice across a range of employment matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of employment disputes, disciplinary and grievance issues, settlement agreements, contracts and policies.
• Advise on redundancies, TUPE transfers, discrimination, whistleblowing and restrictive covenant matters.
• Prepare and conduct Employment Tribunal claims and support senior team members on complex, high‑value instructions.
• Deliver seminars, workshops and training sessions for HR professionals and senior management.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience in employment law.
• Proven ability to draft, negotiate and provide clear legal advice to both employer and employee clients.
• Strong commercial awareness and a collaborative, proactive approach.
• Interest in business development and alignment with people‑focused firm values.
