Engineering Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Administrator to support a well‑established manufacturing business in Verwood. The role sits at the hub of Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Commercial teams, ensuring smooth flow from customer order to production. Accuracy, organisation and attention to detail are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administration for Engineering and Quality teams.
• Process Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and manage supplier documentation.
• Maintain engineering drawings, specifications and controlled documents.
• Support contract reviews and works order administration.
• Update Approved Supplier Lists and supplier records.
• Process customer orders using the MRP system.
• Maintain pricing and product data.
• Provide quotation support when required.
• Liaise closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.

Required profile

• Previous administration experience in an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment.
• Comfortable working with technical documents, production information and engineering data.
• Experience using an ERP or MRP system.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Good Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Confident communication and a positive, team‑focused attitude.
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO9001 environment is a plus.
