Engineering Configuration Manager

About the role

Join Airbus as an Engineering Configuration Manager within the Digital Wing team. You will work at the heart of aircraft development programmes, ensuring configuration management activities are delivered effectively across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage engineering change process deliverables and stakeholder engagement across multiple aircraft programmes.
• Support Airbus' digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor workload priorities, mitigate risks and ensure timely aircraft delivery.
• Coordinate Service Bulletin dispatch for in‑service modifications.
• Oversee Wing Configuration Management activities for engineering design changes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Programme Management, Airworthiness, Manufacturing and In‑Service teams to meet critical deadlines.
• Identify risks and opportunities, implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide guidance on Configuration Management processes and promote best practice across the Airbus community.

Required profile

• Proven experience in configuration management or change management within an engineering environment.
• Ability to work across multiple programmes and engage with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor priorities, assess risks and drive improvements.
• Security clearance (BPSS+) completed by Airbus Security.
