English Teacher – Outstanding Secondary School in Wandsworth

About the role

We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to join an Ofsted‑rated ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Wandsworth. The role is full‑time, permanent and starts in September 2026, covering Key Stages 3 to 5.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging English lessons for KS3‑KS5.
• Contribute to the school’s strong academic performance and Progress 8 outcomes.
• Participate in teacher‑leadership opportunities such as 2iC or KS3 Lead.
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues and graduate teaching assistants.
• Support behaviour, SEN and inclusion policies within the classroom.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England or in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong academic background (degree, A‑levels and GCSEs).
• Positive lesson observation or placement reports (good or outstanding).
• Motivated, receptive to feedback and committed to professional development.
