About the role
This is a part‑time position teaching music to children from Reception to Year 5 in a vibrant two‑form entry primary school in Wandsworth. The role is for one day per week (Monday) starting in September and will continue for the academic year on a long‑term basis.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons suitable for a wide age range and varying abilities.
- Teach music across the whole school on the assigned day, covering both classroom and whole‑school activities.
- Contribute to the music curriculum and support the school’s inclusive ethos.
Required profile
- Qualified music teacher; QTS preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience teaching primary‑age children and ability to adapt lessons to different levels.
- Availability to work one day per week (Monday) from the start of the September term.
