About the role
An outstanding secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a passionate English Teacher to join its team from September 2026. This is a full‑time, permanent position teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5, with the possibility of taking on additional leadership responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for KS3‑KS5 students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the school’s Behaviour, SEN and Inclusion policies.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced teachers and graduate teaching assistants.
- Optionally assume a TLR role such as 2iC or KS3 Lead.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong academic background (degree, A‑levels and GCSEs).
- Previous teaching experience with good or outstanding observation reports.
- Motivated, receptive to feedback and committed to professional development.
