Entry Level Special Needs Teaching Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Entry Level Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join schools in Surbiton. You will work closely with teachers and support children and young people with special educational needs, helping them achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Provide classroom support and assistance to teachers.
• Support students with special needs during lessons and activities.
• Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Assist with daily supply and long‑term classroom coverage as needed.

Required profile

• Passionate about working with children and young people.
• Willing to commit to a long‑term role.
• Reliable, with good attendance and punctuality.
• Background in graduate studies, nannying, care work, youth work, sports coaching or similar experience with transferable skills.
