About the role

Hungry Horse, part of Greene King, is hiring a Kitchen Assistant for its Waters Edge pub in Rochester. The role covers the evening and weekend shifts and involves keeping the kitchen running smoothly during a busy service. It is a permanent part-time position with 25 hours per week scheduled.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen well stocked and clean so the service runs smoothly
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen
• Communicate clearly with the team so everyone has what they need

Required profile

• A positive, can-do attitude to support the team
• A passion for challenges and ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen
• Willingness to learn and expand kitchen skills
• Sufficient spoken and written English to work safely and understand allergen controls
