Event Manager – B2B Conferences (Hybrid, London)

About the role

Join a global leader in B2B events as an Event Manager responsible for delivering up to five international conferences each year. The role combines strategic planning, operational execution, and on‑site leadership, with opportunities for travel and hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of allocated events of varying size and complexity across multiple geographies.
• Collaborate with the sales team to design profitable event packages and secure appropriate margins.
• Work with suppliers to enhance the attendee experience and oversee creation of event signage and collateral.
• Plan staffing, travel, accommodation and design floor plans for each event.
• Execute on‑site event delivery, ensuring seamless customer journeys and compliance with risk and security plans.
• Lead briefings, manage onsite staff and vendors, and maintain budgetary control.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering B2B conferences or expos of 300‑2000 attendees.
• Strong negotiation and contracting experience with venues and suppliers.
• Experience managing compliance, risk policies and international event logistics.
• Confident decision‑making, solution‑focused mindset and ability to take ownership.
• Experience using table or floor‑planning software.
