Events Coordinator – Marketing (Hybrid, £28‑32k)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Events Coordinator to join our marketing team in Leeds on a hybrid basis. You will own the full lifecycle of events, from concept through to delivery, ensuring each occasion meets the highest standards of quality and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver a wide range of events, including client events, internal meetings, conferences, social gatherings and community activities.
• Manage all event logistics – venue selection, catering, entertainment, schedules and on‑the‑day coordination.
• Create detailed event plans, timelines and run‑sheets to keep projects on track.
• Control event budgets, ensuring spend delivers value and stays within limits.
• Source, brief and manage suppliers, venues and contractors for a seamless experience.
• Oversee health, safety and compliance considerations for each event.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align events with business objectives.
• Support marketing and promotional activities to maximise attendance and ROI.
• Collect post‑event feedback and identify improvements for future events.

Required profile

• Proven experience planning and delivering events, preferably in a corporate, professional services or hospitality environment.
• Strong organisational ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Comfortable using event management tools and standard office software.
• A degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing or a related field is advantageous.
• Collaborative, approachable attitude with a positive, can‑do mindset.
