Experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operative – Night Shift

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operative to join a leading global logistics provider in Langley, Slough. The role is night‑shift (4 days on / 4 days off, 19:00‑07:00) and forms a core part of inbound and outbound warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate counter‑balance forklifts safely and efficiently in line with health‑and‑safety standards.
• Load, unload, move and stack goods, ensuring accurate stock placement.
• Carry out daily visual safety inspections of forklift equipment and report any faults.
• Complete warehouse documentation and support inventory control procedures.
• Assist with picking, packing, labelling and general warehouse duties as required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Required profile

• Valid RTITB or ITSSAR accredited Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Minimum 2 years experience operating counter‑balance forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on night‑shift patterns.

Required skills

• Counterbalance forklift operation.
• RTITB/ITSSAR forklift licence.
• Airfreight screening (desirable).
