Experienced Healthcare Assistant – Remote

About the role

We are recruiting Healthcare Assistants for a fully remote position supporting an innovative Hospital‑at‑Home service. The role involves conducting discovery and wellbeing calls with patients monitored at home, ensuring their safety and escalating clinical issues when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled discovery and wellbeing calls with patients.
• Check patients’ health status and medication adherence.
• Clear and manage green alerts according to protocols.
• Identify changes in condition and promptly escalate concerns.
• Submit requests and updates to nurses and the wider clinical team.
• Provide reassurance, clear communication and patient education.
• Accurately record interactions and observations in the system.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data‑protection standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, preferably within the NHS.
• Confident telephone manner with strong communication skills.
• Good understanding of patient care, medication awareness and escalation pathways.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload remotely.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet private workspace at home.
