Experienced Independent Financial Adviser – Up to £60k + Bonus

About the role

An established wealth management firm near Watford is seeking an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to take ownership of an existing client bank. You will inherit a portfolio of around 200 clients with £40 million of assets under management and work within a collaborative, hybrid‑working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and service an inherited portfolio of approximately 200 clients.
• Provide holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments, retirement and protection.
• Conduct annual reviews and regular client meetings to monitor progress.
• Identify opportunities for additional business and referrals.
• Work closely with paraplanners and administrators to ensure high‑quality service.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with FCA regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Financial Adviser, Wealth Manager or Independent Financial Adviser.
• Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
• Competent Adviser Status (CAS) preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and protection planning.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a sizable client portfolio independently.
