Experienced PCV Bus Driver – Full‑time, Speke Depot

About the role

Arriva is looking for an experienced PCV Bus Driver to join its Speke depot. You will be responsible for safely transporting passengers on scheduled routes, connecting communities to schools, workplaces and local attractions.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a passenger‑carrying vehicle on assigned routes, adhering to timetables and traffic regulations.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, ensuring a courteous and safe experience.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑journey safety checks on the vehicle.
• Collect fares or validate tickets where required.
• Report any incidents, delays or vehicle issues to the operations team.

Required profile

• Valid PCV licence (non‑negotiable).
• Minimum 12 months of relevant driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Safe vehicle operation and navigation of urban routes.
