Experienced PCV Bus Driver – Southport

About the role

Arriva is looking for an experienced PCV Bus Driver to join the Southport depot. You will be responsible for safely transporting passengers on local routes, providing a reliable service that connects the community to work, school and leisure destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate PCV buses on scheduled routes, adhering to timetables.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑journey safety checks and vehicle inspections.
• Assist passengers with boarding, alighting and fare payment.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle enquiries professionally.
• Report incidents, maintain journey logs and comply with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Valid PCV licence (non‑negotiable).
• At least 12 months of relevant driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points on the licence.
• Flexibility to work rotating early‑morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
