Experienced Site Engineer (Civil Construction)

About the role

Whitehouse Construction is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join its civil engineering team. The role involves supporting multiple high‑profile projects across the Midlands, ensuring safety, quality and efficient site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Uphold site‑level Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) disciplines.
• Set out construction works in busy, process‑driven environments.
• Plan and manage daily activities to support all assigned sites.
• Mentor apprentices and junior engineers.
• Use surveying instruments for site layout and verification.
• Maintain safe, efficient sites in line with ISO accreditation.

Required profile

• Full clean UK driving licence.
• HNC or HND in a relevant engineering discipline.
• CSCS card.
• Proven experience in civil construction site engineering.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Ability to operate surveying instruments.
