Facilities Account Manager

About the role

The Facilities Account Manager will lead the delivery of hard and soft services for high‑value contracts across the Cambridge area. Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will be the primary client‑facing contact, ensuring strategic targets and financial objectives are met while maintaining day‑to‑day operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contract managers, mobile staff and site‑based employees, including administrative teams.
• Align contract performance with regional strategic goals and business objectives.
• Oversee financial management, P&L control and profitability of the contract.
• Drive business development initiatives to increase turnover.
• Travel to multiple client sites and attend occasional out‑of‑hours visits as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a facilities management role within commercial, property or retail sectors.
• Recognised technical qualification or equivalent.
• Strong background in soft services such as cleaning and security.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high‑value P&L and meet business targets.
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop direct reports.
• Valid UK driving licence; IOSH Managing Safely is desirable.
