Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to deliver preventive and reactive maintenance across client sites, ensuring building systems operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with health and safety standards. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and supporting installations of mechanical, electrical and HVAC equipment while providing excellent service to clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive maintenance requests.
• Diagnose, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Monitor plant, equipment and building services performance.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and urgent service calls.
• Assist with installations, upgrades and minor project works.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service to clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in facilities management, building services or maintenance engineering.
• Knowledge of mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems, HVAC and control technologies.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Reliable, organised and able to work effectively within a team.
