Family Law Solicitor – Hybrid (Sheffield)

About the role

We are expanding our Family Law team and are looking for a motivated Family Law Solicitor to join us on a hybrid basis. You will work from Sheffield with one day a week in the office and the remainder from home, handling a mixed caseload of privately funded family matters.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of new and existing family law cases from start to finish.
• Negotiate settlements and draft, audit, and finalise legal documents.
• Record case information accurately using our case management system.
• Meet individual and team chargeable time and profit targets.
• For senior or lead positions, provide line‑management, mentorship and contribute to departmental strategy.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX qualified with experience in privately funded family law.
• Proven ability to meet chargeable and billing targets.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and resilience.
• Excellent relationship‑building and client‑focused service skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a case management system.
