Probate Solicitor

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Probate Solicitor to join our growing specialist probate team at Co‑op Legal Services. Working in a hybrid model, you will handle a full caseload of probate matters from start to finish, supported by AI‑enabled legal technology and a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end probate cases of varying complexity using our case management system.
• Record accurate case information and maintain compliance with internal procedures.
• Communicate with clients primarily by telephone and email, providing clear updates.
• Collaborate with senior team members and support staff to continuously develop legal expertise.
• Mentor junior colleagues and share best practices.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or legal executive (CILEX or STEP) with experience in probate law.
• Proven ability to prioritise and organise work in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
• Client‑focused mindset with strong relationship‑building skills, especially in remote settings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management systems.
• Experience using AI‑enabled legal technology tools.
