Family Law Solicitor – Hybrid (Sheffield & other locations)

About the role

We are expanding our Family Law team and are looking for newly qualified (NQ) and associate solicitors to join us on a hybrid basis. You will manage a mixed caseload of privately funded family matters, providing a client‑focused service without needing to bring your own client base.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a mixed family law caseload, negotiating to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Use our case management system to record information accurately and efficiently.
• Meet individual and team chargeable time and profit targets.
• Draft and audit legal documents and correspondence.
• For senior or lead positions, provide line‑management, mentor junior colleagues, delegate work, act as a subject‑matter expert, and contribute to departmental strategy and marketing.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX qualified with experience in privately funded family law matters.
• Proven track record of meeting chargeable and billing targets.
• Strong IT competence, including experience with a case management system.
• Excellent relationship‑building and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and resilience to change.
