Family Lawyer (2+ PQE) – Newcastle upon Tyne

About the role

Join an award‑winning, Lexcel‑accredited law firm as a Family Lawyer, managing a diverse portfolio of privately funded family matters. You will work within a supportive team, delivering sensitive and commercially focused advice to clients throughout the North East.

Key responsibilities

• Handle divorce, financial remedy, and private children cases.
• Advise on cohabitation disputes, pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements, and related family law issues.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide practical, solution‑oriented counsel while managing caseloads responsibly.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) managing privately funded family cases.
• Strong communication and drafting abilities.
• Proactive approach with a commitment to high‑quality client care.
• Experience in both financial remedy and children matters is advantageous.

Required skills

• Family law expertise, including divorce and financial remedy.
• Knowledge of cohabitation and prenuptial agreement matters.
