Female Healthcare Assistant – Home Care Support

About the role

We are seeking a caring female Healthcare Assistant to provide personalised support to a client in her 30s with complex care needs in Birmingham. The role involves assisting with morning routines, personal care and clinical requirements to help the client maintain independence and enjoy community activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the client with morning routines and personal hygiene.
• Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care in the client’s home.
• Provide clinical care, including health monitoring and tracheostomy management.
• Assist with preparation for and attendance at day‑centre activities.
• Promote the client’s independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 months paid experience in a professional UK care setting.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, person‑centred approach.
• Willingness to complete client‑specific clinical training.
• Female candidates only, as requested by the client.

Required skills

• Tracheostomy care, including emergency tube changes.
• Clinical care and health monitoring.
