Field Interviewer – Part Time

About the role

As a Field Interviewer you will conduct door‑to‑door surveys for Ipsos, gathering opinions and experiences from residents in the Newport area. The role is part‑time, with shifts of six hours that you pre‑book, allowing you to choose the days that suit you.

Key responsibilities

• Approach households in assigned neighbourhoods and invite residents to take part in short surveys.
• Record responses on a company‑provided tablet, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Follow a pre‑planned schedule of 6‑hour shifts, typically between 9 am and 8 pm.
• Maintain a valid driver’s licence, business insurance and a reliable vehicle for travel between locations.
• Submit mileage logs for reimbursement.

Required profile

• Enjoy meeting new people and listening to their stories.
• Comfortable initiating conversations and putting respondents at ease.
• Available to work at least 12 hours per week in pre‑booked 6‑hour shifts.
• Own a car with valid insurance and a driver’s licence.
• Committed to representing the community accurately.
