Field Operations Specialist – Frontline Technical Representative

About the role

The Field Operations Specialist is the frontline technical representative who supports internal R&D, deployed systems and customer operations. You will work directly with military, government and commercial customers to ensure mission success by deploying, configuring and troubleshooting CHAOS Industries' hardware and software solutions in the field.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute system deployments, demonstrations, and testing for internal R&D and external customers.
• Install, configure, integrate, and field hardware and software solutions in operational environments.
• Collaborate with logistics, engineering, and program teams to ensure timely and successful deliveries.
• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting of hardware, software, networking and system‑integration issues on site.
• Escalate complex technical problems to engineering with detailed reproduction steps and operational context.
• Travel regularly (≈50 % CONUS/OCONUS) to support product testing, customer demonstrations and deliveries.

• Strong initiative, planning and coordination abilities, and a focus on flawless execution.
• Ability to build trust with military, government and commercial customers.
• Willingness to learn and apply deep product knowledge to tactical deployments.
