Field Technician – Medical Equipment Installation

About the role

National Seating & Mobility is seeking a dedicated Field Technician to deliver, install, and service a range of medical and mobility equipment across Canada. You will work directly with clients, therapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective use of our products.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and install equipment such as electric beds, walkers, stairlifts, wheelchair lifts, ramps, and wheelchairs at client homes and facilities.
• Provide in‑store and on‑site customer service, including product selection assistance and usage instruction.
• Pick up, inspect, and return equipment, reporting any damage or cleaning needs.
• Complete and upload wheelchair set‑up forms and other documentation.
• Repair, adjust, or coordinate repairs for equipment as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse inventory with proper labeling and barcoding.
• Install grab bars and assist other technicians with deliveries and repairs.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence and ability to lift up to 75 lb.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily tasks.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.
