Finance Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join the head‑office finance team of a growing services organisation based on the Wirral. The role is primarily home‑based with occasional visits to the office, offering a flexible hybrid working pattern. It is ideal for a Part‑Qualified or QBE Finance Analyst who can contribute immediately to our financial reporting and analysis activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and variance reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory and management financial statements.
• Identify and investigate financial discrepancies, recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Part‑Qualified (QBE) or equivalent finance qualification.
• Strong numerical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining effective communication with the team.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial reporting software or ERP systems.
