Finance Manager – Manufacturing Sector

About the role

This position offers a Finance Manager the chance to lead financial operations for a well‑established manufacturing business in Stockton‑on‑Tees. You will be responsible for delivering accurate reporting, driving budgeting processes and ensuring regulatory compliance in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decisions.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to aid business growth.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial performance.
• Manage cash flow and implement cost‑control measures.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in financial management within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Clear communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders.
