Finance Officer - Part-Time

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Finance Officer to join a friendly organisation just outside Stockton‑on‑Tees. The role offers 25 flexible hours per week, ideal for candidates who need to balance work with school runs or other commitments. Immediate start is available.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and process supplier payments.
• Allocate incoming cash and reconcile customer accounts.
• Process employee expense claims.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with general finance administration.
• Support the wider finance team with ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (essential).
• Strong understanding of invoice processing, reconciliations, and cash allocation.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage workloads effectively and prioritise tasks.
• Competent using finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Available to start immediately or at short notice.
