Finance Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Operations Manager for ClearAccept, a regulated UK payment institution in the acquiring space. This role combines building new processes with running day‑to‑day finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Daily client fund reconciliation and CASS 15 regulatory reporting
• End‑to‑end merchant invoicing and acquirer commission reconciliation
• Month‑end close, P&L revenue analysis and input into forecasting and budgeting
• Management of aged debt, credit control and billing query resolution
• Transactional cost monitoring across the merchant portfolio
• Lead the annual audit for the finance business unit
• Manage a team of three, setting priorities, monitoring performance and ensuring continuity

Required profile

• 5+ years of finance operations experience within a payments business (acquirer, PSP or PayFac)
• Hands‑on knowledge of CASS 15, client fund safeguarding and acquirer settlement
• Familiarity with card‑scheme fee structures and merchant billing processes
• Experience managing a finance operations team

Required skills

• Proficiency in NetSuite or a comparable ERP system
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, large‑scale data manipulation)
