Financial Reporting Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Financial Reporting Accountant to join a market‑leading international pharmaceutical business experiencing strong growth. The role is permanent and based in Weybridge, offering the chance to own the end‑to‑end reporting process.

Key responsibilities

• Take full accountability for consolidations, financial statement preparation and reporting processes.
• Prepare and finalise consolidated financial statements and disclosures, ensuring full IFRS compliance.
• Provide technical accounting leadership across complex areas and support accurate financial reporting.
• Challenge group reporting packs, accounting policies and disclosures.
• Manage statutory reporting and the complete audit process, resolving technical accounting issues to meet deadlines.
• Deliver clear, concise financial insights to senior stakeholders.
• Support the wider Finance function in external reporting of half‑year and year‑end results.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant with a strong interest in reporting and technical accounting.
• Proven track record in company reporting, consolidation and internal financial controls.
• Excellent IT skills with the ability to improve processes and interpret data.
• Proactive, able to influence decision‑making and build relationships internally and externally.
• Available to start ASAP; only candidates with a maximum one‑month notice will be considered.
