Financing Sales – Fixed Income (FI) – Institutional Clients

About the role

The Financing Sales team within Global Markets delivers financing and liquidity solutions to institutional clients such as hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies and banks. This role sits at the intersection of markets, funding and client strategy, offering broad exposure to repo and secured funding products.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve individual and team targets, expanding the repo and secured funding franchise across client segments.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of institutional clients, organising client meetings and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Promote a wide range of secured funding products including repo, cross‑currency repo, securities lending, collateral swaps and total return swaps.
• Work closely with trading desks to maximise profitability and provide high‑quality pricing and market feedback.
• Collaborate with structured desks, senior bankers and relationship managers for cross‑selling and market opportunities.
• Monitor balance‑sheet usage, credit lines and risk exposures, especially around quarter‑end and year‑end.
• Promote e‑business platforms (Bondlend, TradeWeb, MTS) and contribute to the optimisation of trading and sales tools.
• Handle front‑to‑back queries, onboard new clients and liaise with legal and risk teams on documentation and credit approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the repo market and proven sales experience in financing products.
