First Aid Trainer

About the role

SSG Training & Consultancy Ltd, part of the Celnor Group, is seeking a qualified First Aid Trainer to deliver accredited first aid courses in Plymouth. You will teach a range of programmes, ensuring learners gain vital life‑saving skills.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid and Paediatric First Aid courses.
• Ensure all training complies with FAIB standards and awarding body requirements.
• Create an engaging, interactive learning environment.
• Assess learners, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate training records.
• Prepare and maintain training equipment.
• Represent SSG Training & Consultancy professionally at all times.

Required profile

• FAIB First Aid Instructor qualification (or equivalent).
• Teaching/assessing qualification such as Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to motivate and engage learners.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).
