Floor Manager - Luton

About the role

The Floor Manager plays a key role in driving strong shop-floor performance and delivering the service customers expect. You support your team, maintain high standards and ensure the shop floor runs smoothly every shift, working closely with the management team to drive sales, boost customer engagement and keep the store clean, organised and high performing. The role calls for effective, hands-on leadership, strong commercial awareness and the ability to support and develop colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer receives fast, friendly and professional support.
• Drive commercial performance through effective shop-floor execution, including merchandising, replenishment and motivating the team.
• Lead and develop colleagues so they maintain high performance, strong engagement and consistent adherence to company policies and processes.
• Support day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling and keeping the shop floor clean and organised.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with proven experience supporting and developing team members.
• Solid commercial awareness, understanding how daily actions affect store KPIs and performance.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to uphold high operational and visual standards.
