Forklift Counterbalance Driver – Runcorn

About the role

Acorn by Synergie is seeking reliable Forklift Counterbalance Drivers for a client at Whitehouse Industrial Estate in Runcorn. The role is temporary, running until 31 July 2026, with a fast‑start schedule and full training on all truck types, including double‑fork trucks.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general forklift (FLT) and production duties on the shop floor.
• Supply production lines with required raw materials.
• Move finished products from the production area to storage.
• Perform hygiene and housekeeping tasks as required.
• Operate standard and double‑fork counterbalance trucks.

Required profile

• Valid RTITB or ITSSAR counterbalance licence refreshed within the last three years.
• Previous experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Flexible, practical, and detail‑oriented.
