Founder's Associate – Operations

About the role

SalesAPE.ai is seeking an early‑career Founder's Associate to sit at the operational core of the business. Reporting to the General Manager/Chief of Staff, you will own people‑ops, finance‑adjacent admin, legal coordination and investor relations, working closely with the founder and CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end People Ops & HR processes: onboarding, contracts, payroll coordination, equipment and system access.
• Administer core workspaces and platforms such as Google Suite, Slack and HubSpot.
• Support investor relations and cap‑table management using SeedLegals and Carta.
• Manage UK EMI and US ISO equity schemes and handle related documentation.
• Partner with Finance on expense control, SaaS spend and vendor administration via Brex.
• Maintain DocuSign workflows, ensure GDPR compliance and coordinate with legal counsel.
• Act as first responder for system outages, access issues and urgent people matters.
• Help organise company events, all‑hands meetings and office logistics.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in operations, people ops, HR or a related generalist function (internships count).
• Highly organised, discreet and resourceful with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent written communication, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Calm problem‑solver who thrives under pressure and enjoys “fire‑fighting”.

Required skills

• Proficient with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Forms).
• Familiarity with HR/ops platforms such as Rippling, SeedLegals, Carta, Brex, DocuSign and 1Password.
• Experience using Slack and HubSpot for internal communication and CRM.
