Fragrance Sales Specialist - Onboard Cruise Ship

About the role

Harding+, a leading cruise retail business, is looking for Fragrance Sales Specialists to join its onboard retail teams on cruise ships around the world. The role is full-time and contract-based, with contracts of up to 6 months at sea, usually followed by 1 to 2 months at home between contracts. You will work in a boutique setting with guests from across the world, helping them choose a signature scent, buy a gift or discover something new.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce guests to new launches, hero fragrances, gifting options and promotions, using knowledge of notes, fragrance families and brand stories to make relevant recommendations
• Offer testers and encourage guests to try products, turning browsing into confident purchases
• Support onboard events, seminars and promotional activity, keeping pace when the boutique is busy and refreshing product knowledge, preparing displays and replenishing stock when it is quieter
• Approach guests confidently, adapt your style quickly and create momentum without making the experience feel pressured

Required profile

• Fragrance or beauty retail experience
• Strong face-to-face sales skills and a natural approach with customers
• Motivation to achieve sales targets and contribute to team performance
• Confidence supporting events, seminars or promotional activity
• Resilience and flexibility in a busy, changeable environment
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
• A good level of physical fitness, as the role is active throughout the day
