About the role
LanguageLine Solutions is seeking freelance telephone interpreters who can provide accurate, impartial, and confidential interpretation between English and Soninke. This remote position supports clients across healthcare, local government, and other public services throughout the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver real‑time telephone interpretation between English and Soninke.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all interactions.
- Work from home while adhering to scheduled assignments.
- Support a variety of sectors, including NHS, local authorities, and government departments.
Required profile
- Fluent spoken Soninke.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Access to a smartphone and reliable home Wi‑Fi.
- Willingness to complete recruitment, onboarding, and an Enhanced DBS check.
