About the role
We are seeking an experienced freelance Site Manager to lead a fast‑paced shop and industrial fit‑out project in London. The role is a short‑term, five‑day contract starting Monday 20 July, ideal for a professional between longer‑term assignments.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the entire fit‑out works on site, ensuring they stay on programme and meet quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate a single contractor, managing daily tasks and progress.
- Maintain health and safety compliance at all times, conducting site checks and reporting hazards.
- Identify and resolve issues swiftly to keep the project moving forward.
Required profile
- Minimum five years’ experience as a Site Manager on construction or fit‑out projects.
- Valid SMSTS certification.
- Current CSCS card.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Proactive, independent working style with strong problem‑solving abilities.
